What It Actually Takes to Become an LG Pro Dealer
LG's Pro Dealer program is not a participation award. To earn and maintain Pro Dealer status, contractors must complete LG's official technical training curriculum, pass certification assessments, and demonstrate hands-on proficiency with LG's full product line — including their ductless mini-split systems, heat pumps, and LGRED° cold climate technology.
The certification matters most when it comes to your warranty. LG's 10-year parts warranty on residential systems is only valid when the system is installed by a certified LG Pro Dealer. An uncertified installer — regardless of how experienced they are — cannot activate that warranty. If something goes wrong with your system, you could be on the hook for parts costs that should have been covered.
